Re: Novice Entry Clerk Requires Expert Advice

An additional clarification on my questions above please. For question 3 "Entering a New Class", if the K1 paddler now in Div 2 has previously raced in C1 Div 4 and not been promoted, can they continue to race in Div 4 until promoted based on performance or does the entering a new class rule overrid...

Novice Entry Clerk Requires Expert Advice

Sorry this is neither a rant or a rave, just a cry for help which I was unsure where else I could post. I'm processing the entries for the Div 2/3/4 Cardington slalom which is not using online entry. As a Div 1 slalom Dad I do seem to learn something new about the rules at every event we go to but w...

Re: Cardington 2,3 4 Slalom June 2017

The information pack for the event can be found at https://www.dropbox.com/s/bjallp326ol9ek6/Cardington%20Info%20June%202017.pdf?dl=0. We currently have space left for 34 more boats on Saturday and 44 more on Sunday but I know some more entries are on the way. If you still want to enter please post ...

Re: Cardington 2,3 4 Slalom June 2017

Paul Would be good to see you and Windsor paddlers at Cardington, thanks very much for the offer to be on the jury or judge. It's looking likely that there will be entries on the day available, however any entries received after this weekend will incur late fees so there are benefits in getting your...

Re: Cardington 2,3 4 Slalom June 2017

It is just 3 weeks until the event so if you haven't already posted (yes we are that old fashioned) your entry please get it in ASAP. Providing the event is not full we will be accepting entries right up to the event and on the day but it would be a great help to get them in advance. I'm afraid any ...

Re: Online Entries - The Future - Have your Say?

As mentioned in my earlier reply I believe the answer is for the application to generate a pdf which can then be printed. To be clear I'm not talking about a print to pdf function, I'm suggesting that the application defines the PDF layout using JavaScript libraries such as jsPDF or pdfmake. Apart f...

Re: Online Entries - The Future - Have your Say?

Thanks for the replies Dee. A few further comments and answers to your questions: Card Printing – I agree that direct printing from a browser will never be successful, the approach I’ve seen work successfully is for the application to generate a PDF using JavaScript libraries such as jsPDF or pdfmak...

Re: Online Entries - The Future - Have your Say?

Firstly as a parent of a Div1 paddler, I’ve found the online entry system a big step forward, it has really made the process of my son spending my money on entry fees very easy (perhaps too easy!). This year I’ve also pick-up the task of dealing with entries for the two Div 2/3/4 events to be held a...
