Olympic Slalom

Post by ada » Wed Jun 20, 2012 3:37 pm

Just trying to sort travel and parking for spectating on the Monday. Thinking about camping Sunday night somewhere? Is anyone camping? Where? and how are people sorting out travel to the site? I thought about cycling the last couple of miles but where to park? Ada

There is cycle parking in the transport hub (aka the showground). May only be somewhere to lock the bike but there are at least people patrolling the area. :|
I know of people camping at Sewardstone campsite and Gilwell Park.

Or stay a bit further away and park at either Hertfordshire University Campus in Hatfield or North Weald Aerodrome in Essex. From here coaches will be laid on that will take you to the event. You will find the details on your ticket.
All spelling errors are intentional and are there to show new and improved ways of spelling old words. Grammatical errors are due to too many English classes/teachers.
