As many of you know, Etienne Stott and Tim Baillie won gold in the C2 Final, and to top it off Richard Hounslow and David Florence got the silver in the same event.

It was A truly fantastic event. For those that missed it. Tim and Etienne Were the last boat to qualify for the final so came down the course first. As the remaining boats followed And we gradually knew that GB had at least a Bronze then Silver and then a Gold the atmosphere in the stands was electric. Richard and David were the last boat down and when they achieved second place the volume of the cheers left my ears ringing. Thanks for giving us a fantastic afternoon guys and many congratulations.

Aberdeen was buzzing this afternoon and evening with Tim (and Etienne) taking the GOLD and David (with Richard) the SILVER. Wishes came true as whilst we wished we could never really believe that such a 1-2 would happen.

Club session at Seaton tonight was broken with visiting reporters and interviews with the old hands that knew the lads and youngsters still bemused by all the fuss. An absolutely epic result anda huge congratulations to the guys, their coaches and their parents..
