Why isn't a competition on canoeslalomentries?

I get asked this question frequently.
For a competition to be visible on canoeslalomentries ...
So please chase the organiser, not me!
The reason I do not publish is I need the organiser to check the details just in case; although the vast majority will be as expected they may want to change contact email (GDPR) and sometimes have other queries. I can't tell you why some organisers just don't publish - it's a mystery to me!
I do also get asked about "open for entry dates" - the system sets these to a default based on competition date (this year to a few weeks beforehand) but organisers can and do change them.
For a competition to be visible on canoeslalomentries ...
- The organiser needs to have fully completed and submitted their yearbook data (a few still outstanding!)
- I need to initiate the competition on canoeslalomentries
- The organiser needs to check and publish their competition
