ACM Motions

Post by harratts » Sun Nov 14, 2021 8:25 am

It is true that you only really miss something when it stops being there.

For the past few years we have all been able to read through and pass comment on the various motions to be put forward for discussion at the end of season Canoe Slalom ACM thanks to Colin Woodgate who posted a new topic on here for each of them.

With are now less than 2 weeks away from this years ACM and no such postings are available.

Come back Colin, all is forgiven and Thanks for all that you continue to do.
Steve

I have just requested it all to be posted.

Deborah Catty has done a fantastic job, keeping up with everything as secretary but is standing down.
So we need a replacement Steve could you consider this :D or recommend anyone :?:

OK So flattery will get you anywhere. Motions posted. But is was quick, so may not be properly formatted.

As in previous years I could not think of an easy way to mark what has been deleted and what has been added to the rules, so just posted the rules after the change (if accepted). Feel free to look in the rules if you want to find the details of the change - or get the Agenda and look in that

Nick will (hopefully) post the accompanying documents and the original of the Agenda. I believe the Agenda and documents have been sent to the club representative if you want faster access

Deborah has had a bereavement in the family so may not be looking for this sort of post.
All spelling errors are intentional and are there to show new and improved ways of spelling old words. Grammatical errors are due to too many English classes/teachers.

Is the agenda available to view then? I can’t see it anywhere but I may be missing the obvious, I normally do!

Sorry Steve
We are waiting for Nick to get back from his holiday and have time to post the documents on canoeslalom.co.uk.
The documents have all been emailed to the club slalom reps. If my memory is correct (doubtful after this time) it was Dave Bradshaw last time I was secretary.

Brilliant work Colin, I don't believe people realise how much work you have put into the ACM. :D

Thanks Colin, a mammoth effort on your part.

So are we referring to the Steve and George C2 pairing as Harriet Harret next season?

We get get announced as the winning C2 crew at one race which sounded very much to us as "A Rat and A Rat" which still makes me smile to this day.
