I'm sure I saw a message about something else that mentioned a delay in getting the bib applications open, but I can't remember what the message was or the reason given...

For C1 if you are going into division rather than vets, you should send Nick Penfold an email to let him know your experience and which division you feel happiest starting in - I should imagine given your experience in K1 he won't have a massively different view, but as ranking officer he will decide. If you are going for vets, just apply to Paul directly like you do for K1. Either way you are going to challenge my running order for Pinkston, I normally send vets and C1s close together so the div 2 and 3 C1 and K1 paddlers get the best rest between runs!

You can just turn up and enter in Div4. Fill your details in and you will get a ranking on promotion to Div3.
If you are ranked in K1 then you can start in the devision below your ranking, or apply for ranking to Nick for the Division you prefer.

We are currently waiting for BAS to open for 2023 applications so it is not possible to apply for bibs.

Hopefully it will be available soon

Sorry I have No news when Bib applications will Open.

But there are arrangements to get Bibs to the First Slaloms.

Lee Valley Div 1 should have all the Div 1 Bibs.

Symonds Yat Div 3/4 Should have all the Bibs also.

To receive your Bib at the event you will have needed to fill the paperwork out in advance. [The form is not on line yet ]

Otherwise I have a Bag of temporary Bibs. :D

Hi Mike
Thanks for update. How best to pay for bib, no credit for us. I assume cash at the event isnt desired?
I assume these finer points are being ironed out before event(s).
cheers again

For bibs to be collected at events they need to be applied for in advance, so you will still need to apply and pay (if needed) in the usual way but won’t be relying on post. No need to panic yet, BAS will be open very soon so it will all be business as usual.
