I feel for Paul and Laura, and also Heather Corrie who would only have needed a top 10 spot in either of the World Cups to get the Olympic place.

Is there much chance of any countries dropping out and GB getting any of the 2nd boat places?

I think I heard that Greece might drop out because they were so far behind all the other countries in the races so far and it will be too embarrassing if they do really rubbish because they're the ones that are hosting the event or something like that. Don't take my word on this or anything though cos I don't know for sure if it's right or not!

That would be good because we would get all 3 places however, i am sure it is a very wild rumour.
