Washburn Div 2 & open - 20/21 April

Post by lesf » Fri Feb 15, 2013 12:28 pm

If you have flicked through the new yearbook that has landed on your door mat you will have sen the Washburn races are down as having 'enhance entry fees'.

This is incorrect - the normal fees apply. Please delete it on all three Washburn events

It is entirely my fault for ticking too many boxes on the entry form (and not reading it properly!) I spotted it too late for it to be changed as the yearbook was at already at the printer.

And get your entries in for the 20/21 April Washburn Div 2 - I've already got some entries (thank you).

Cheers

Les

Re: Washburn events - entry fees

For the first time in a week our postie has made it through the pennine snowdrifts to deliver a dollop of entries - We still have plenty of room, but please get your entries in asap.

As before, normal entry fees apply (the yearbook is incorrect).

Also I'll be at Tully for the Div 1/2 race next weekend, so feel free to hand me your entries there if you want.

Thanks

Les

Just a reminder for those coming to the Washburn, it is possible to stay at the Washburn Wood-yard - this is at the bottom of the river in Blubberhouses (2 miles down the valley, by the A59) and owned by the BCU Yorkshire Region (Postcode LS21 2NY).

This is available with limited facilities for caravan and campervans (hardstanding and toilets) plus for this year there is limited space for small tents.
Contact: Esther Mathews if interested (Tel : 01302 535 941).

There is no camping on site (in the event car park area) except for those running the event (Yorkshire Water rules).

Les

PS we are desperately in need of judges!

A provisional start list is on its way to the website. I still have spaces, but would appreciate people sending me entries in advance rather than on the day.

Thanks

Hi Les

Do you still need (Paddling) judges?
I can make it down tomorrow.
