I heard that some changes to the course were being carried today.

Does anyone have any information of what they are?

..... and have they been successful?

I don't know. By the time we got there, the water was turned off because one of the new obstacles was coming adrift and so the course was closed for safety reasons.

2 hours drive each way, to train on flat water - aaaaargh!

To add to the misery....

Phil Gooding sent me a text at 16h00 to say the water was on and he would meet me at 18h00.

I arrived on time to find it had been switched off and the centre staff insisting it would not be turned back on and giving everyone their money back. I turned round for a session at Stone. Phil arrived late and 20mins b4 I got to Stone rang to say the water was back on again.

I finished work too late to get there today :(

Thanks Phil

We arrived to check things out and were told that the water was being switched on, so we passed the good news to Dave. We then got changed, only to find that nobody was being allowed down the course. :p But clean forgot to let Dave know this.

At least I got chance to see the remodelled looping pool and one remaining new boulder. All usefull to design saturday's course.
