yeah a well done to the organising committee and the judges who dutifully manned the river bank on what was a rather chilly and dreich spring day !

Even made the mainstream National Press as the organsier phoned me early on monday morning with instructions to get the Independent. Can only assume that I was travelling slow enough for the photographer to get a decent photae !!!
