I have entered my Daughter for the Tees Barrage Div 1 on Saturday the 8th of October, but I have heard a lot of conflicting accounts about the course.

Could anyone tell me what its really like, and is it worth a two hundred mile drive? :p

My kids had paddled Tees inplay boats. They took their slalom boats to practice up there recently, they are div 2 and really enjoyed it, so div 1 should be fine. The centre advice is that you should be 3* to paddle the water. Anything more specific?
The caravan club site is excellent, very clean facilities. Pub grub next door.
Mine would give it :) :) :)

Hi Kev

She should be fine, a bit less daunting than HPP, there is only one hole that she could have trouble with at Happy Eater as long as she paddles through it in a straight line she will be fine.

My two girls will be up there on Saturday and you know them :;):

Maybe all the late entries are due to Llangollen being cancelled.

Maybe competitors are rushing for last event for the year, which is not being held HPP.
