British Open Open/International

Next weekend is the British Open and Class C International. Over the weekend there will be a number of visitors attending from various sporting bodies and prospective sponsors. This race needs to run smoothly and professionally. As a sport we need to show what we can do to encourage them to support us.

Please be polite and helpful to them and impress them with some wonderful paddling!

I also need help in the following areas:

- Finish
- Judges clerks
- judging
- forerunners

Etienne will be doing commentary and Graham Mulholland and his company EPM technology are sponsoring the VIP marquee.

A new slalom canoe will be unveiled using 21st century technology.

Anyone however that can offer help in any way will be greatly appreciated.

Unforunate the course is fairly flooded out and more rain due Friday.
Any decision if it will run? ??? ???

Water level dropped considerably at moment and going down - forcast I saw seemed reasonable will not cancel unless absolutely necessary, if looks possible for sun will run one day only no decisions until tomorrow.
