ok not slalom related but i seen on the bbc website that plans for the wwr worlds in wales next year have been scrapped as the BCU cant afford to run it! ok this is not a funded sport but i thought the plans had been to hold the worlds there had been around for quite a while. how come now its only been discovered they cant afford it.

I believe it has something to do with the rent required for the site. you know that one owned by the WCA!
All spelling errors are intentional and are there to show new and improved ways of spelling old words. Grammatical errors are due to too many English classes/teachers.

It has been a problem fpr some time with much negotiation with the WCA now wanting to charge for possible loss of earnings from rafting if all the water is used or something like that. The figure they want is in the 10's of thousands and is totally realistic and unaffordable.
