It's not exactly free to race if you have to pay normal course charges which are more expensive than entering a full divisional slalom. It's also going to be very difficult getting there for an 8.30am start.

its £8 to get on the water! that gives you about 6 hours on the water as opposed to how long? you usually get at a slalom.
If you dont like the start time dont come, we have opened the event up to other clubs etc to give others more practice of race line starts during winter training. We are stuck with water times as the course is tidal, its just a fun event organised by Fison- lets support him not pick faults! :)

I think Fison's offer was great. At least he is throwing it open to all. We have other things on or we'd be there.
A positive move to give paddlers opportunity to train.

Have a good one Fison. I have to offer my appologies, the docs will not let me paddle again yet. . . :(
Thanks for the offer, and hope all goes well.

Are there any posters that we can spread around to let others know?

If Tees is too far north, Jan 15th is also the next Peterborough Winter slalom, so you are spoilt for choice!!:D

Glad it went well Fison, Shame about the clash - difficult to fit the winter events round one another with Frostbite, Peterborough AND Stone.

Great idea fison. How about adding that long lost skill of Team Runs to spice up the day and get more time on the water.
