After the Division 1/2 on the Saturday, the club are running a Ceilidh in the Tully Village Hall from 7.00 - 10.30. Tickets are £3 for juniors and £4 for adults and these can be purchased from Control.

For those of you who don't know what a Ceilidh is, ceilidh dances are done to Scottish music and are great fun for all ages. Some dances are done with a partner or as a group dance. There will be a caller who will explain each dance and shout out the moves so anyone can join in.

We will also be selling soft drinks and snacks.

The cafe over the weekend is also in the Village Hall and not the Tully Hotel. There are also changing rooms for paddlers in the village hall for those that want.

We put them on the info at £5 but will drop the price if lots of interest and can thus cover costs easier. Thats why I have not requested any money yet. We are not trying to make money out of this but rather trying to improve the experience of coming at minimal cost as it is clearly challenging for many in the current financial climate.

Old and Slow - see me in the hut (you are now on the list), but will you up to it after a hard day on the water?

Humph! Ok I'll give the water a miss that day! I'll sit on the bank and help with the judging, that way I should preserve my strength!
