Hi all.

just a small plug for a non slalom event this weekend which will be good for those not attending the Abbey or Stone events

This weekend there will be a 3/4 release on saturday and a full release on sunday. this will give you all an opportunity practicing your skills on the different releases (or dodging the odd lemming and raft =D )

we hope to see you there =)

please remember that entry is NOT free and all paddlers must pay to have access onto the river.
ALL PADDLERS NOT WEARING A RELEVANT DAY TICKET ON THERE PERSON/BOAT WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE

we look forward to seeing you there.

should be plenty of water coming down this weekend. and in this temperature will be nice and refreshing (swim or not XD)

Just to add above;
WOODYARD WILL BE CLOSED!

BOTTOM CAR PARK IS FOR GENERAL PUBLIC AND SHUTTLE TURN AROUND ONLY. KAYAKERS ARE NOT TO USE THE CAR PARK EXPECT FOR PRIVATE SHUTTLE.

for those who are paddling at Abbey, you can still make use of the washburn and its ample water =D its only a "short" drive down to the course (although use of GPS is recommended)

Great day on Sunday, plenty of water and good practice for the forthcoming races there :D

Big thanks to West Yorkshire CC for organising the weekend.

Cheers
