Shepperton Mini 18th January

Post by davewaine » Thu Jan 09, 2014 7:12 pm

At the moment the Thames at Shepperton is running at a very high level and is not suitable / too dangerous to have an event.
We are hoping that the level will drop in the next few days so we can run the slalom.
Please keep an eye on the chatter board and slalom web site for updates.

Hi Dave

Sorry to hear that you have too much water at Shepperton :( but hope that you will be able to run the event planned for this weekend.

If not then the event taking place at Stafford & Stone (the Shepperton of the North) will definitely be going ahead and we would love to have anyone who wishes to paddle but cannot join us. :)

Our river levels are still much too high - still not enough room to fit poles between lines and water!!
There will not be a slalom this Saturday, 18th Jan.
We are hoping for the level to drop so we can hold it on the 25th Jan.

Hopefully this rain will have given up by February 15th, our next Mini.
We may run another in before our Div 1/2 in early March.
