Wanted: Old Style AP1000 Helmet

PS. Are these still OK for UK slalom use?

They have not been tested or marked as conforming to the relevant EU standard, so they are not valid helmets to use in slalom in the UK. They have not been valid slalom for slalom use from the 1980s -around the time I got one as a GB Helmet!

Ah, the 80s slalom scene - remember it well. I never reached the heights of GB helmet status, but they were supercool badges of honour. Respect!

Now this is a real long shot and a very impertinent question. Do you still have your helmet - would you be interested in selling it! I'm desperate to get back on the water with an AP1000. The current approved helmets don't appeal somehow.

Of course the reply is two words, second one 'off' but that's OK.

Alternatively you could search Peterborough land fill sites, somebody in the family threw mine out after the strap broke.
