As some of you will be aware 2007 is the 100th anniversary of the birth of screen legend John Wayne and in order to celebrate this momentous event Hollywood are about to release a previously unseen film shot in 1972(the year in which Deep Purple released "Machine Head" and blind men saw again after listening too it) starring John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, story wise it goes like this
John Wayne's cattle rustling down in Texas and as we all know there's only one man in the world who can possibly take out a cattle rustling John Wayne, that man being Clint Eastwood, so Inspector Harry Callaghan gets taken out of San Francisco and sent down to Texas to sort out the thieving cattle rustler John Wayne. Off course the film ends in a in fairly predictable manner; Clint's got John Wayne on the ground, pointing a magnum 44 in his face and giving him some speil about "go ahead punk, make my day was it five or was it six" but what exactly happens next?
