GRANDTULLY DIV 1 29-30 AUGUST 2020

Post by Kelso » Thu Nov 14, 2019 11:58 am

Grandtully Slalom DIv 1 29-30 August 2020 is again being run by Forth Canoe Club.
The race organiser is Poppy Croal and I will be helping in the background as usual.
You can contact us at
tully20@forthcanoeclub.com

If you are planning to use the campsite, it woudl be wise to make your booking as soon as possible.
You can do this online on the SCA web site, which is now the place to make your booking.

More in due course...

But what Kelso is probably hinting at, is the recent announcement of a return for the Tay Descent in 2020 on the 30th August. Previous Descents have used the campsite as a base and run shuttles for paddlers so camping may be very busy.

Is the campsite now taking camping bookings or still only campers and caravans? Some of us don't or at least have not previously had the option to book ahead.

Hello repliers...

In brief
1. I am not hinting at anything concerning any Tay Descent.

2. Campsite Bookings are always open.
There is a new online system which you can reach on the SCA web site.
You should book any caravan or motorhome as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Be aware that there is limited power to the site.
This is why we have 6A circuit breakers on the power outlets.
We cannot provide power for domestic kettles, heaters or such.
And please do not use multiple outlet extensions or similar, as these simply cause us both problems.

I hope this helps...

So tent users still cannot book ahead?
